The first person to receive a partial heart transplant.

A partial heart transplant, recently performed by Duke University Hospital (USA) on a newborn boy with truncus arteriosus, a rare and complex congenital heart defect, has shown positive results. After nearly 5 months of treatment, the baby is healthy and growing like a normal child.
