Upholding Medical Ethics and Compassionate Care for Quang Ngai’s Families in Need
On August 12-13, 2023, volunteer specialists from Ho Chi Minh City and Viet My Clinic conducted a medical outreach in Quang Ngai, providing free examinations and medicine to 1,100 people. The mission served veterans, children, and underprivileged families, with a specific focus on pediatric cardiac health. Over 600 children were screened for congenital heart disease, ensuring early detection for those in need.

A partial heart transplant, recently performed by Duke University Hospital (USA) on a newborn boy with truncus arteriosus, a rare and complex congenital heart defect, has shown positive results. After nearly 5 months of treatment, the baby is healthy and growing like a normal child.
